Lifestyle Sports has just opened a new store on Patrick Street in Cork city. The 20,000 sq ft store is the largest in the Lifestyle Sports portfolio and features the first multi-sport simulator in Ireland.

Life Style Sports (Ireland) Ltd, formerly Quinnsworth, is Ireland’s largest sports retailer. Its 46 outlets across the Republic and Northern Ireland stock sports goods and sport fashion from major global brands including Nike, adidas and Under Armour.
The company is part of the Stafford Group and is led by CEO Mark Stafford. It restructured its portfolio last year and operated fewer, bigger stores. The firm also managed to stay in the black for the sixth year running, reporting a profit of EUR4.1 million. In its accounts, the retailer said that it achieved exceptional growth on the online business and increased market share.
Lifestyle Sports’ largest store, located in the Capitol Building in Patrick Street, features a number of new retail concepts, including a multi-sport simulator, interactive kiosks, ‘charge and chill’ zones and a gait analysis lab. The company plans on rolling out these elements to other outlets in the future. It is currently operating four outlets in Cork, one in Ballincollig and two in Blanchardstown. The company also has an extensive online presence, which includes a dedicated women’s section.
